The MT2 Between Centres Pen Press transforms your woodturning lathe into a highly accurate pen assembly station. This easy-to-use system slots directly into any standard number two Morse taper headstock and tailstock opening, utilising the natural alignment and length of your lathe bed to push parts together perfectly straight every time. The headstock side features a protective, spring-loaded hard plastic face complete with a dedicated centre hole designed to cradle and protect delicate pen tips from damage. By advancing your lathe tailstock, you apply smooth, parallel pressure that prevents your pen tubes from buckling or assembling crookedly. Because it relies entirely on your lathe bed capacity, this system is ideal for putting together longer custom pens or oversized writing instruments that exceed the capacity of traditional standalone desktop presses.
